hello! i'm feeling much better today. :) i'm so over last night. i woke up around 11ish, and i watched tv for a little bit. i watched this fascinating show on animal planet about testing king cobras to see if they could hear airborne sounds. well, i dont know if you know! but snakes can't hear. they dont have an outer ear. but what's strange about the king cobra is, it growls when it's threatened. it's the only specie of snakes that does so. (i'm pretty sure!) so that's why it was such an interesting hypothesis to test. also b/c in india, they have a myth, that you kill a cobra, another will come and kill you for revenge. scientifically, it means that the dying snake actually calls out for help. (thus the king cobras growl. it may have evolved?) anyways, it turned out that king cobras only use their grow purely for the purpose to warn. they can't hear anything. :( i was a bit disappointed! i wanted them to hear. anyways, enough about that. :) but i really want to do stuff like that when i'm older, you know? study animals! anyhooO... during my tv time, i ate a blueberry bagle, two slices of french bread, and a turkey sandwich. oh! and cranberry juice. yUmmy! hehe, after that, i went to barnes and noble and i studied for biology there until 6pm. after that, i had dinner at islands with my boss, and some other coworkers. it was fun! we talked about credit cards, and you know.. work stuff. heh. me and erin split chicken tenders and a burger! ohh and we had fries and also dessert. it was goOOod. hehe. then i went back to barnes and noble and i studied there some more.. and i just came back a little whiles ago. i have more to study too. :( NEVER put of biology till the last minute! bOohoo. it was really boring to study biology for 6 straight hours. well, not straight.. i had a dinner break in b/t. heh. anyways, i'd better get to it. i hope i dont get a 66% on this test. :/ and i have to prepare for environmental panel!! aHHhh.. goodnight tobey. wish me luck!
